"The subject of Nordic Walking kept cropping up so, after some investigation on the web, I joined the class. I couldn't see how walking with a couple of sticks would need six lessons but one lesson in, I was worried, six might not be enough!
 
There is so much more to it than I had realised.  Fortunately, Dawn introduced one element at a time, making sure we were confident before moving onto the next. I am impressed that Dawn has quite a disparate group in terms of age and fitness levels but has incorporated us all so well that I have never been made to feel embarrassed to be lagging along at the back and the younger, fitter ones seem to be very happy pounding along in front.
 
All in all, I have thoroughly enjoyed the lessons. It's a great new sport to learn and I am grateful to Dawn for making it fun while showing infinite patience when I "didn't quite get it"! Rowena (Godalming)
