This course is a long-term answer to being overweight and is designed to promote long-term positive behavioural changes through enlightenment and total support and motivation to ensure you achieve your goals.

Initital consultation: Weight & measurements, reading & course materials

 

Workshop 1: Project aims, establishing a start point, setting goals, monitoring change, record keeping, portion sizes, carbs, GI (Glycaemic Index), physical activity, supportive nutrition.

 

Workshop 2: Psychology of eating, meal management strategies, fats, nutrition plan, food labelling, energy balance, weight maintenance.

 

Workshop 3: Optimum nutrition, healthy fast food, eating out - making informed choices, drinking and socialising, motivation, reassessment.

 

Workshop 4: Plateaus - how to overcome & create long-term change, overcoming unwanted behaviours - positive beliefs & outcomes, new beginnings, final assessment, long-term strategies.
